Escape the city and reconnect with nature on a two-day retreat to Ban Wang Hora, a peaceful village nestled among the mountains near a reservoir in Suphanburi.

Join us for a weekend of riverside camping, forest hiking, waterfall swimming, bamboo rafting, and beautiful mountain viewpoints. Wake up to fresh air, spend time surrounded by nature, and enjoy a slower pace of life away from the city.

This is more than just a hiking trip. The campsite and trail program are developed by the local community to help residents recognize the value of their hometown’s natural environment and create sustainable income through tourism, rather than relying on forest-burning practices.

Day 1: Waterfall Hiking, Bamboo Rafting & Camping

8:00 AM: Depart from Bangkok

• The journey takes approximately three hours, with a short rest stop along the way.

11:30 AM: Arrive at the village and set up camp

• Meet the local community, settle into the campsite beside the reservoir, and enjoy lunch before the afternoon adventure.

1:00–3:30 PM: Hike to Phu Krating Waterfall

• Meet your local guide and hike through the forest to Phu Krating Waterfall. Enjoy the natural surroundings and spend some time at the waterfall before returning to camp.

4:00–5:00 PM: Bamboo rafting and reservoir swimming

• Hop aboard a bamboo raft as a small boat pulls it across the reservoir for a scenic ride. We’ll stop at a designated safe swimming area where you can cool off and enjoy the water.

• Afterward, return to camp to shower and change into dry clothes.

6:00 PM onwards: Dinner and campfire

• Enjoy dinner and a relaxing evening by the campfire, weather permitting. We may also have an optional Halloween-themed activity to make the evening extra fun.

Day 2: Mountain Viewpoints & Forest Bathing
8:00–8:30 AM: Breakfast

• Wake up to the fresh morning air and enjoy breakfast at the campsite.

9:00 AM–12:00 PM: Hike to the mountain viewpoint

• Set off with our local guide for a scenic hike of approximately 3 km round trip, with around 300 metres of elevation gain. Allow approximately three hours for the hike.
• Along the way, enjoy the forest scenery and stop at beautiful viewpoints for photos. On the return journey, we’ll slow down for a peaceful forest-bathing walk, taking time to notice the sounds, sights, and atmosphere of the forest.

12:00 PM: Lunch and campsite clean-up

• Return to camp for lunch, pack up our belongings, tidy the campsite, and take a quick shower or change into comfortable clothes before departure.

1:30 PM: Depart for Bangkok

• Say goodbye to the local community and begin our journey back to the city.

Approximately 5:30 PM: Arrive in Bangkok and end of our trip

Saturday: Waterfall Hike & Swimming

• Distance: 2.5 km
• Difficulty: Intermediate
• Estimated Duration: 2–3 hours
• Experience: Hike through the forest to the waterfall, enjoy the natural surroundings, and take a refreshing swim.

Sunday: Pha Changoek (ผาชะโงก) & Forest Bathing

• Distance: 3 km round trip
• Difficulty: Intermediate
• Estimated Duration: Approximately 3 hours
• Elevation Gain: Approximately 300 metres
• Experience: Hike to a scenic mountain viewpoint, capture beautiful photos, and enjoy a peaceful forest-bathing walk on the way back.
