Visit Chaing Mai and Lampang at the end of the cold season & atten the Flower Festival in Lampang (Orchid Tree). We are going to hike and visit the whites pagodas on top of mountain line, which is unseen Thailand’s locations and 2 small villages in the middle of the valleys (one in Lampang and one in Chiang Mai) Which is one of the most famous tourist destination for local Thais. 

Note: The Sunday Thapae Night Market is reopened, if you would like to visit there, please allow some time and chose the later return ticket

• Visit Wat Chaloem Phra Kiat Park (white pagodas on the mountain top) 
• Visit Chae Son Hot Spring & Waterfall
• Eat The hot spring’s boiled egg
• Flower Festival (Orchid Tree)
• Visit 2 villages in the middle of the valley (one in Lampang, and one in Chiangmai) 
• Chiang Mai Walking Street

Day 1:

08.40: Meet up at The Hiking Hub, Chiang Mai.

09.00: Our journey starts to Lampang Province (2. hours drive + gas station break) 

12.00:  We will have lunch first, then continue a trip to Wat Chaloem Phakeat Lampang, change into 4WD continued up in the mountain (take 30 minutes), then start to hike up to see the view of the mountain line, the greenery, and the highlight is Chedi on the top of the mountain peak.

Highlights: 

• 1 km distance, take around 30 minutes to reach the top
• Chedi on top of the mountain peak
• The view of Lampang and mountain lines 

15.00: Reach back to the parking lot. Then continue the trip to Chae Son National Park (1-hour drive) 

16.00: Arrive at Chae Son National Park was classified as one of the top national parks in Thailand. It’s famous for the natural hot spring. Once we reach the National Park, we are going to visit the Chae Son Waterfall.

18.00: Dinner and rest for the rest of the day.  

Day 2: Sunday 7th
7.00-8.00: Wake up and enjoy the view of the hot spring in the morning, coffee & breakfast (complimentary Breakfast #1)

10.00: Leave National Park to the Flower festival (Orchid Tree Festival) at Baan Meang Village, enjoy the village walk and flower festival (This village is located in the middle of the valley).

12.30: We make a stop at Ma Kam Pong village, This is one of the most famous villages for local Thais. We will have lunch then visit the coffee shop to see the view of the village and visit the waterfall.

15.00: Leave back to Chiangmai

16.30: Back to Chiang Mai and end our trip at the Hiking Hub where we start.

Note: There’s Sunday Walking Street 10 minutes walk from here. The walking street start at 5 PM.

How long does the hike take?

Sat 6th:  

• Wat Chaloem Phakeat Lampang: Intermediate (Add one more level if you aren’t use to with hiking) 1 km distance include the stairs and slope), take around 45 minutes to reach the top (2km, 2 hours walk time)
• ChaeSon National Park’s waterfall: Easy – Intermediate:  1.5 km distance, take around 30 minutes to reach the top (2km, 1hr+ walk)

Sun 7th: 

• ChaeSon National Park’s Hot Spring: Easy – Intermediate:  700 meters distance, take around 30 minutes 
• Baan Meang Village and Flower Festival: Easy (walk around the village, 1hr allow time to visit the area) 
• Ma Kam Pong village: Easy  (walk around the village, 1hr allow time to visit the area)
