If you miss your winter jacket, we are having a weekend trip to the north of Thailand to visit Prayao’s most beautiful viewpoint and camp at one of the must visit villages in Winter.
We are going to visit flower plantation, visit the only warm waterfall in Thailand, and a few art musume/ temple in Chiang Rai.
*There are no plans to deviate from the plan unless there is an unforeseen situation
Day 1: Fri 18th Dec
19.00: Van Leaves from Gas Station near Wutthakat BTS Station. (around 11 hours drive). We are heading to Phayao Province, around 11 hours drive
Day 2: Sat 19th Dec
6.00: Arrive at the viewpoint, it’s one of the best viewpoints/ Cafe with the great view of Doi Langka Luang mountains view. We are stopping here for the view, while having breakfast and coffee
7.30: Leave to visit Phu San NP (around 1 hour drive)
8.30: Arrive at Phu San National Park, The only warm waterfall in Thailand. After that, we are going to continue our journey to Chiang Rai
12.00: Arrive at Doi Tung. We stop for lunch, then continue to visit Doi Tung Palace & Mae Fah Luang flower plantation. Mae Fah Luang Plantation is one of the most popular places to see the winter flowers in Thailand. Doi Tung is also famous for the coffee bean, we are going to stop here for the flower and walk on top of the tree for some adventure.
16.00: Leave Doi Tung to Doi Pha Hee Village, it’s located at north of Thailand near Myanmar (30 min drive)
17.00: Setup campsites, walk to the bamboo bridge to enjoy the sunset view.
18.30: Dinner time, and enjoy the rest of your day.
Day 3: Sun 20th Dec
7.00-7.30: Breakfast
8.00: Tidy up our campsite & Check out then leave for Tham Luang National Park
9.00: Arrive at Tham Luang National Park (Khun Nam nang Ning cave), take the natural studytrail to visit around the emerald pool then visit the Luang Cave entrance where the kids were stuck in the cave for 17 days.
10.30: We continue our journey to Tea Plantation for Photo taking. Arrive at Choui Fueng Tea Plantation, we are going to visit the Plantation for a walk around and picture, you may opt to take some tea tasting.
12.00: Ban Dam (Black House Musume) is the art Musume built by the National Artist, collecting the collection of his art (traditional and contemporary art) over 50 years of his lifetime.
13.00: Lunch
15.00: Visit white temple, one of the most famous temples in Thailand. Built by the national artist, the art tells stories of heaven and hell in Buddish terminology.
15.45: Drive to Chiangmai City (3 hour)
19.00: Arrive at ChiangMai City, Check in at the hotel. Dinner
Day 4: Mon 21st
AM: Free Chiangmai city day
10.30: Checkout
11.00: Leave for Bangkok
21.00: Back To Bangkok
