Witness the wonder of nature, see thousands of lightning bugs/ fireflies in our one day trip to  Pracheenburi. We are also going to add visiting viewpoints, dinner at the local restaurants to make the one day trip more fulfilling. 

We’ll begin our adventure at one of Thailand’s most popular cafes. We begin by participating in the farming activities, and then we visit the hidden temple, which is surrounded by the roots of the Bodi tree.

We’ll eat lunch at the reservoir and take in the vista of the top from where we’ll be descending. The Daravadee Buddha Statue is our starting point on our walk. We are going to track the 2 km natural trail up to the peak, ending our trip by visiting the lightning bus garden to observe thousands of the lightning bugs.

7.50: Meet in front of McDonald’s at Lotus Onnut, near BTS Onnut

8.00: Van leaves from Parking Lot of Lotus Supermarket near BTS Onnut

9.30: Arrive at Montreux Cafe and Farm. The best cafe in Nakhon Nayok province. It has a farm and activities you can join in. 

11.00: Arrive at the old temple, this temple is around 200 years old, located near the lotus pond. It was an old ruin that was renovated into a temple. Yet it has Bodi tree roots wrapped around the temple.

12.30: lunch box near the reservoir. After lunch, we get in the van and drive to the Big Buddha statue.

13.30: Arrive at the big buddha image, our trail starting point. We are going to hike up to the peak of the hill. The trail is natural trail, has some elevation gain and distance is around 2km

15.00: The van will wait for us on the top of the trail, we return back to E-to reservoir by the van, on the way down, we are going to stop at the Pha Hin Son viewpoint. 

16.00: Back to the E-To reservoir. We are going to rest and enjoy the view of the reservoir and coffee shop.

17.30: Dinner at Thai local restaurant, after dinner we leave for the fireflies garden

18.20: Arrive at the fireliges garden. The fireflies are normally coming out after sunset, we are going to stay at the garden until 19.00 then head back to Bangkok

19.00: Leave for Bangkok

21.00: Arrive back to Bangkok, near Onnut BTS station
